stupid mistakes

every one of us make stupid mistakes and we all regret it


I feel stupid
The tears won’t stop falling
Embarrassed
Want to get out of this mess
I thought I was smart
I’ve been told I’m clever
That won’t help me now
Having my mind elsewhere
Got me nowhere
Only in trouble
They say everybody makes mistakes
Well I’ve made too many
How can I make this right?
Wish I had an answer
I know I’m not a bad person
Just stupid
Reflecting on my actions hurt
My tears visible to world
Heart split open
In needs to be healed
Although I deserve the pain
I want it to end
I never hurt anyone
Only myself
I did something much worse
I disappointed them
The look of disapproval
Eyes piercing my soul
Making me ashamed
This is not what I wanted
This wasn’t my plan
How can one mistake do this?
How can it cause so much pain?
Maybe time will make it better
Now my stomach hurt
My mouth tastes bitter
Can’t look myself in the eye
This is bad
Why did I do this?
I don’t have a good excuse
I’m just stupid.
