!Oh what a shame

Ashamed I am

Ashamed I am from whom I became

Ashamed I am from forgetting what’s my life’s aim

Ashamed I am, we and the west are now the same!

Arabs got talents? No dear, that’s Arabs wear shame.

What talent? If all they’re longing for is just fame?

How frustrating! Yet there’s no one to blame!

No one but us!

Weak personalities

Fake truths

And hearts about to explode.. of pain

I take a book of how our muslim umma used to be

And I cry blood for what it turned out to be

All the sins and mistakes I see

All those voices in my head shouting at me

Saying do something! Stop someone! Make them see!

But I’m afraid I’m not brave enough

Now I just wish I can turn it all off

Phones

TVs

PCs

And see how is it gonna effect our deeds

Yeah, to be honest, we’re their slaves

We’re nothing better than those men who used to live in caves

‘cause we’re not using our brains

We’re not thinking

We’re not feeling

We’re lost and waking calls went in vain

Oh what a shame!

and i wanna say that's for me , it's not that i'm ain't brave enough it's that i say i can't make a deffrent cuz i'm just a tiny person in this huge world
but now that i read your poem i think we all can make a diffrent if we stick 2gether hand by hand don't you think

and this forum is the start for it

so why not? why not trying to leave a footprint instead of doing nothing

hell yeah we choose to do it

it's our life , our future

we should write a topic to bring as many as members as we can

so we can have a lot of ideas

i'm sure that there is a lot of good people is this forum that will love to help

we'll start small then we'll go huge

name it 'put your impact in changing our situation' and we should make it atracting to bring as many as we can

we should present them our goal.. and try to gather ideas and thoughts to how we'll achieve it

n even our nation is goin through the worse periode ever
but when meetin ppl like u I know tht there still the good in this nation
and there's too much ppl like u but yet they r hidin theirselves
