the stressed sylllable
أولا لازم عليك تقسيم الكلمة ل syllable على حساب ل vowels مثل e/co/no/my ماشي على حساب ل conconants
ثانيا تحديد طبيعة الكلمة (اسم أو فعل أو صفة.......)
Stress on first syllable most 2 syllables nons PRESent, EXport, CHIna, TAbleMost .2-syllable adjectivesPRESent, SLENder, CLEVer, HAPpy

Stress on last syllable
Most 2-syllable verbs:to preSENT, to exPORT, to deCIDE, to beGIN
تضع أيضا ل stres عل حساب نهاية الكلمة فاذا كانت الكلمة تنتهي ب ic أو sion أو tion فانك تضع ل tress في syllable الثانية من الاخر
مثل:Words ending in -ic :GRAPHic, geoGRAPHic, geoLOGic Words ending in -sion and -tion :teleVIsion, reveLAtio
و تسمى Stress on penultimate syllable (penultimate = second from end)
ثالثا وضع ال stress في ال syllable الثالثة Stress on ante-penultimate syllable (ante-penultimate = third from end)في الكلمات التي تنتهي ب : cy,ty,phy,gy,al مثل:
Words ending in -cy, -ty, -phy and -gy :deMOcracy, dependaBIlity, phoTOgraphy, geOLogy Words ending in -al :CRItical, geoLOGical
