Hello brother ... nice questions; thank youu : annnd here is my attempt 1-Farther" refers to a physical distance, while "further" refers to a figurative distance" ?for example : How much farther to the police office and “Nothing could be further from the truth” 2- don't know 3- a while " is a noun that means "a short period of time" and " awhile is an adverd but it has the same meaning :here is an example I'll wait here awhile* I'll wait here for a while* " I think the second question has a close explanation to this one" 4 - Died = مات Dead=ميّت 5- I'll write it later thanksssssssss very much bro for the lovely participation waitnig for others also ... we'll wait for the correction after the members' attempt |

I'll Insh'Allah participate more and more in order to make this subject breathingAnd about those quests 1st one : u've answered it correctly 2nd one: Let me tell ya dat there's the word "Alot" is not mentionned in the English , but there's 'a lot' ok? 3rd one: emm..u're approximitaly right! I'll let u and the other members to look about it 4th one: I noe that...but my purpose from this quest is as the following we know all that we could use the Past Participle of a verb as an Adj..And Died is the P.P of the verb To Die 4instace.. can we say: My Granny is died/dead? ?N' by the way, What's the difference between using Can an' Could coz they're li'l bit different, and When we use each one of 'em 5th quest: I'd prefer not 2 answer it Peace Out |

so I only got 1/5 but this is not bad I learn new things from such questions that appeal to me so much
about the 4th quest I wanted to say that we only use "dead" as an adj not the PP : in your eg we can say either My Granny is dead or my Granny died --------- can and could , they need a huge lesson I think could is the past form of the model can* we use "could" in polite requests but "can" we use it when we recommend something informally * :eg .could you give me your pen , please .can you give me your pen ( we studied this before at the middle school) also they have other uses and functions you can add more bro ------------ ?!why don't you wanna answer the 5th one emmm I found this after researching :The difference is in the use of the terms :We talk of 'shade' when we are talking of the area of darkness in reference to the source of light (sun etc) eg. We sit or walk in the shade. 'Shadow' on the other hand is used when we are talking of the area of darkness relative to or in reference to the object blocking the source of light. Shadow therefore refers to a shape cast by an object that blocks the sun or other source of light.eg: shadow of a tree. |
