The reasons for establishing the world trade organization and the policy objectives of this international organization are set out in the preamble to the wto agreement. According to the preamble the parties to the wto agreement and the establishment of the wto:

According to the preamble to the wto agreement the wto main instruments or means, to achieve the objectives of the wto are reciprocal and mutually advantageous arrangements on :
ط The reduction of trade barriers
ط The elimination of discrimination

The agreement further.commits its members to contribute to these objectives by:
