Well,Widad

The lesson of "wish" is easy.Simply,you can use "wish" in three cases

To express present regret,we use the past simple after I wish

example: Father,I wish you were here with me now

To express past regret,we use the past perfect after wish

example: i wish I had got my BAC last year

To express future desire,we use could after the subject I

example: I wish I could attend the lecture of tomorrow

With the rest of subjects,we use would after wish

example: I wish he would come to my party next week

[Well,kahouch,the stress is really a problem not only for you but for all of the students

Just stick to the cases that you have seen

For the words that contain the suffix "ic" put the stress on the syllable before the the suffix ic

example: mathematics: we put the stress on the syllable "ma "which is before " tics

For the words that end in : tion , sion , ssion , cion ,put the stress on the syllable before the syllables which I've just

mentioned

example : television : we put the stress on the syllable: "vi" which is before the syllable "sion

For the words that can be used as nouns and verbs at the same time,if it is a noun,we put the stress on the first

syllable and if it is a verb,we put the stress on the second syllable

example : the word " contact " can be a noun as it can be a verb. As a noun, we put the stress on the syllable

يا أخي و الله الإنجليزية ليست بالصعبة خاصة من ناحية القواعد التي يمكنك التمكن منها خلال أشهر معدودة

المشكلة لديكم أنكم لم تعطوا هذه اللغة الأهمية المنوطة بها منذ بدأتم دراستها و المشكلة الثانية هي أنكم

اعتبرتموها مادة و ليست لغة فكرهتموها و نسيتم أنها لغة و وجب عليكم تعلمها مثل أي لغة أجنبية

فأنصحك أخي أولا أن تغير فكرتك اتجاه هذه اللغة و تعتبرها لغة لا مادة و تشرع في تعلمها و اكتسابها درجة درجة كما قلت أنت

و لا يهمك الوقت الذي ستقضيه في تعلمها مهما كان لأنك تتعلم لغة و اللغة بحر

كما تعلم أي نعم يمكنك الحصول على البكالوريا بالتركيز على المواد الأساسية

لكن الحصول على البكالوريا ليست بالمشكلة و إنما المشكلة هي بأي معدل ستحصل عليها؟

كما تعلم و خلال السنوات الأخيرة أصبح هاجس الطلبة هو معدل البكالوريا لانه حتى معدل 14

لا يمكنك من اختيار شعبة جيدة و هذا غالبا ما يحصل حينما يهمل الطالب المواد المكملة مثل اللغات.

فاللغات و من بينها اللغة الإنجليزية تساعد كثيرا في رفع معدل البكالوريا فلا يجب إذن إهمالها

أما عن سؤالك فيما يخص الإعتماد عن فهم النص فعلامته لا تتعدى 7 نقاط فإن أنت اعتمدت عليه

فلن تتجاوز 7 نقاط و هذه العلامة لن تفيدك كثيرا في رفع معدل البكالوريا.

بارك الله فيك لكنني لم افهم direct and indirect speech

To turn a direct speech to an indirect one,mind the following

The reporting verbs or the introductory verbs which we use to report the speech

like the verbs: say,tell,ask,order,and others like state remind advise and so on

If the reporting verb is in the present,we don't change the tense and the words indicating

time and place when we report the speech. Mind also the type of speech if it is a statement;I mean affirmative

or negative sentence,a yes / no question,a WH question or an order

Examples

Statement: We use that

I am ill today."he says"

He says that he is ill today

Notice: The tense of the direct speech is the present simple and it remains present simple

The word " today" also doesn't change.We change only the pronoun "I"into " he " because " I " of the

direct speech refers to " he " which is outside the direct speech

Yes / No Question : We use the word if

Do you work here?" she asks him"

She asks him if he works here

Notice : After the word " if " we start with the subject " you " which becomes " he " because

it refers to " him " outside the direct speech and the tense remains present simple with no change

The word " here " also doesn't change

WH Question: We start with the question word of the direct speech then the subject and we complete

the sentence without any change in the tense

e.g

Where did you go yesterday?"he asks her"

He asks her where she went yesterday

Notice : The direct speech starts with where.So, we start the reported speech with where

then the subject and we conjugate the verb in the past simple because it is conjugated in the

past simple in the direct speech. Notice the auxiliary " did " in the direct question which indicates

the past simple

Order : We have two types

An order that starts with a verb and an order which starts with don't

Shut the door " he tells him "

He tells him to shut the door

It's easy,just put the verb in the infinitive form and complete the sentence

Don't repeat that " she reminds him"

She reminds him not to repeat that

It's also easy,just put " not " then put the verb in the infinitive form then complete the sentence

Now,when the reporting verb is in the past simple like : said,told,asked ,ordered and so on, do the same thing

but this time,you have to change the tense and the words indicating time and place

Concerning word transformation noun,verb , adj , there's no clear rule for that

You learn that through reading and using the ********.That's why we say : Mastery of ********

For your second question , generally,we don't make changes when pairing the sentences

Example

The exercise was easy. everybody has got more than ten

The exercise was so easy that everybody has got more than ten

Concerning your third question, you 're enquiring about the conditional

We have four types of conditional

Conditional type one : We use the present simple in " if clause " and the future in the result clause

eg : If I have time,I will visit you tomorrow

Conditional type two: We use the past simple in " if clause " and would + stem in the result clause

If I had time yesterday, I would visit you

Conditional type three: We use the past perfect in " if clause " and would+have+past participle

in the result clause

If I had got my BAC ,I would have opted for Medicine

Conditional type zero : We use the present simple in both clauses because it is a general truth

If we mix blue and red,we get the purple colour

Remark : When we have an unreal situation, we always use conditional type two

eg : If I were you, I wouldn't go there

In unit one, mind the vocabulary concerning malpractices such as bribery,embezzlement, nepotism

fraud,corruption counterfeiting and so on

In unit two, mind advertising,cosumption,food safety and so on

In unit three , mind astronomy,sun,planets,asteroids,meteors,orbits,gal axies,space exploration and so on

So,you have to learn about all that. If you don't understand anything of that,just let me know

Well,there are many rules concerning the word stress,but what you have to focus on , the words

that contain the suffix " ic " like the word phonetic in which you put the stress on the syllable

which is before the syllable that contains ic

So, we put the stress on the syllable ne ..........pho'netic

Also,focus on the words ending by tion , sion , cion , ssion

It's the same rule: we put the stress on the syllable before the last

The words which end by ity , aphy ,logy and son , we count three syllables from the end and we put the stress

وكتاه نستعملو الكلمات اللي ييمدوهملنا مثل Providing that / as long as وغيرهم
متى استعملهم في وسط الجملة او في الاخر او الاول
ارجو الشرح بالعربية لاني اعاني مع هذه المادة
بالاضافة استاذ ممكن تشرحلي الستراس والسيلابل


تلك كلمات تربط بين جزئي جملة clauses و تعبران عن الشرط condition

مثلهما مثل if conditional type one حيث نصرف الفعل الذي يأتي بعد أداة الربط

مباشرة في present simple و الفعل الآخر في future

مثال

I will go there providing that you go with me

بمعنى سأذهب إلى هناك بشرط أن تذهب معي

أداة الربط هي providing that و الفعل الذي بعدها مباشرة go نضعه في present simple

أما الفعل الآخر will go فنضعه في future

فيما يخص syllables فهي سهلة جدا تابعي معي

نستطيع معرفة كم مقطعا صوتيا syllables تتكون منها الكلمة بحساب عدد vowels التي تنطق

فمثلا في كلمة big هناك vowel واحد i و هو ينطق إذن فهناك مقطع واحد في كلمة big

في كلمة meet هناك متحركان أي two vowels هما ee لكن ينطقان في صوت واحد فهناك

إذن مقطع واحد أيضا

في كلمة fine هناك two vowels كذلك هما i و e لكن e لا ينطق في آخر هذه الكلمة إذن هناك مقطع واحد

لاحظي كلمة many هناك two vowels هما a و y و كل منهما ينطق بمفرده فهناك إذن مقطعان

في كلمة expensive يوجد أربعة vowels هي e و e و i و e لكن e الذي في آخر الكلمة لا ينطق

بينما الثلاثة الآخر ون ينطقون كل بمفرده فهناك إذن ثلاثة مقاطع و هكذا

أما عن stress فراجعي مداخلاتي السابقة فقد تكلمت عنها

Well,there are many rules concerning the word stress,but what you have to focus on , the words



that contain the suffix " ic " like the word phonetic in which you put the stress on the syllable

which is before the syllable that contains ic

So, we put the stress on the syllable ne ..........pho'netic

Also,focus on the words ending by tion , sion , cion , ssion

It's the same rule: we put the stress on the syllable before the last

ex'pression

The words which end by ity , aphy ,logy and son , we count three syllables from the end and we put the stress

من الإستثناءات لكن عليك أن تركزي على ما شرحته في المداخلة التي رأيتها

فغالبا ما تطرح في الإمتحان

لا تعتمد كثيرا على هذه القواعد لأنها بصيغة التعميم بينما هناك العديد

من الإستثناءات لم تتطرق إليها تلك القواعد

سأحاول في الأيام المقبلة إدراج موضوع مفصل عن ال stress إن أمكنني ذلك

ماهو الفرق بين suffix root prefix


ال prefix يسمى بالعربية السابقة و هي كلمة تأتي قبل الكلمة الأصلية

ال suffix هو اللاحقة و يأتي بعد الكلمة الأصلية

ال root هو الكلمة الأصلية

أمثلة

كلمة return : كلمة turn هي الكلمة الأصلية أي root و re هي السابقة أي prefix

كلمة eatable : كلمة eat هي root و able هي suffix

كلمة unethical : كلمة ethic هي root و un هي prefix و al هي suffix

أنصحك أن تحفظي تلك الفقرات إن استطعت لكن لا تكتبيها كما هي في الإمتحان

السلام عليك أريد مساعدة فأنا لدية مشكلة في كتابة الفقرات وخاصة عندما يعطىلك جمل مساعدة أرجوا أن تخبرني كيف أتمكن من ادخالها بنجاح

إذا طلب منك إعادة ترتيب جمل مشوشة على شكل فقرة فيجب عليك أولا أن تقرئي الجمل جيدا و تفهمي الموضوع

حتى يسهل عليك ترتيب أفكاره ثم عليك استخراج الجملة الأولى التي لا يمكن بأي حال من الأحوال أن تحتوي

على كلمة مرجعية reference word مثل he أو she أو it أو its أو them .....................

لأن وجود مثل هذه الكلمات في الجملة يعني أن هذه الجملة قطعا ليست الجملة الأولى.

مثال عن BAC 2012

الجملة b و d تحتويان على its و الجملة a تحتوي على it فلا يمكن أن تكون إحدى هاته الجمل هي الجملة الأولى

Advertising is the act of calling the attention of the consumer to a particular product.Some people

see that advertising is something good since it makes the consumer know about the product.For instance,a

consumer in Algeria can never know about something produced in France if advertising doesn't play a role

in that.Advertising doesn't inform consumers of products only,but it also informs them of services

Using the ad,we can also help in educating people and warning them about the actual dangers that they

may face in their daily life.Sales can be improved by advertising.The more people are attracted by a

particular product,the more this product is sold,the matter that will affect the economy positively

As it has a positive side,advertising also has a negative one.It is very expensive.Salesmen spend huge

amount of money,sometimes,on a single piece of advertising.Another negative point is that the ads are

not always true because sometimes,they advertise fake products.Some catchy advertisements influence

the choice of the consumer and make him buy that particular product not because the product deserves

to be bought but because the ad is catchy.Finally,advertising affects children negatively by influencing their

way of thinking and their choices in life

In short,advertising is a two-face coin.So,we must be careful about it

exactly when,or let's say when the action exactly happened is not important.What is important is the action

Here,we use words like: before,already,just,never,yet

Example: I have visited Algiers before

The action of visiting Algiers is more important than when I visited it.I visited Algiers in the past

but when in the past? We don't know.Maybe yesterday,maybe last week,maybe last year,maybe

Second,we can use the present perfect when the action started in the past and continues in the present

Here,we use the two connectors: since and for

Example: I haven't seen my friend since last year

I haven't seen my friend for a year

When we have two successive ( one after another ) actions in the past,we put the verb of the

action that happened first in the past perfect and the verb of the action that happened next

in the past simple

Example: After she had written the letter,she posted it

So,the action of writing happened before the action of posting.So,we put the verb write in the past

تلك كلمات تربط بين جزئي جملة clauses و تعبران عن الشرط condition

مثلهما مثل if conditional type one حيث نصرف الفعل الذي يأتي بعد أداة الربط

مباشرة في present simple و الفعل الآخر في future

مثال

i will go there providing that you go with me

بمعنى سأذهب إلى هناك بشرط أن تذهب معي

أداة الربط هي providing that و الفعل الذي بعدها مباشرة go نضعه في present simple

أما الفعل الآخر will go فنضعه في future

فيما يخص syllables فهي سهلة جدا تابعي معي

نستطيع معرفة كم مقطعا صوتيا syllables تتكون منها الكلمة بحساب عدد vowels التي تنطق

فمثلا في كلمة big هناك vowel واحد i و هو ينطق إذن فهناك مقطع واحد في كلمة big

في كلمة meet هناك متحركان أي two vowels هما ee لكن ينطقان في صوت واحد فهناك

إذن مقطع واحد أيضا

في كلمة fine هناك two vowels كذلك هما i و e لكن e لا ينطق في آخر هذه الكلمة إذن هناك مقطع واحد

لاحظي كلمة many هناك two vowels هما a و y و كل منهما ينطق بمفرده فهناك إذن مقطعان

في كلمة expensive يوجد أربعة vowels هي e و e و i و e لكن e الذي في آخر الكلمة لا ينطق

بينما الثلاثة الآخر ون ينطقون كل بمفرده فهناك إذن ثلاثة مقاطع و هكذا

أما عن stress فراجعي مداخلاتي السابقة فقد تكلمت عنها
