There are many groups of people for whom the possibility to find a job represents a
serious problem. The people to suffer from this terrible situation are the illiterate. Their
inability to read and write makes it difficult for them to get some occupation other than
hard and manual works. In the second category, we have all those living in poor and
underdeveloped countries where the economic situation is so bad that except for a few
lucky individuals, the majority are obliged to spend most of their life unable to earn a
regular salary. The third group includes many of those who are affected by either some
physical or mental handicap. For most of them, the fact of not having all their capacities
constitutes a strong obstacle to get the smallest chance in the field of employment. The
fourth case is made up of persons that no employer would like to have in his business
because of their being imprisoned in the past for their illegal activities.
