how to understand someone who speaks English ?

Before everything you must study the basics of the English lan.guage if this is okay,
first of all, you need to listen to the English accent carefully because its so important to differentiate between accents, the second thing to do is to understand the meaning, not the words particulary, and if you don't understand the meaning so you need more vocabulary, it is suggested to learn everyday a new word, it looks very few but in fact it's great, look with me, there are 356 days in a year, so what if you learn everyday a new word, how many words will you get in a year ? 356 words, isn't it amazing ? well I know it is, what is needed is simple, one word Patience
the last thing to do to understand someone speaking English is understanding the form of words how they are prononced in each accent, it deffers but once you get it, it becomes easy.

thank you so much we really need something like that especially the meaning because sometimes i understand the word but the meaning is so far than these words so we must deal with that like a native speaker so we have to aquire it by watching tv or videos ,films....also songs it help us too much

sure phonetic is good and helps a lot.
it is useful for standard english
however, listening accents is necessary
to understand.

of course phonetics help us but only to understand the sound of letters but vocabulary and listening is more helpful to understand the whole meaning

PRACTICE ....
IF U DONT PRACTICE UR WORDS WITH OTHERS ADN USE THEM ALWAYS
u will forget them after a while ....
so always PRACTICE ....
there is a prolem that i found in practicing ....
WITH WHO SHOULD I SPEAK ? n
WELL MY LITTLE EXPERIANCE SAYS : if u dont find someone to speak with , speak with urself ....
dont laugh !!! but speak with urself .... it is better than losing ur words ....

Also try to use the new word you learn in different sentences
like this you will not forget new words.
