Salam alikom brothers and sisters

I am a PhD student in a technical speciality, and i think i have a medium level in english.

As we do researches in english, and the grammatical integrity of the texts is one of the most important conditions for the acceptance of our researches.

I propose we open a window to do lessons for improving our level in english , and to correct each other mistakes.

I would be grateful to receive your suggestions and comments.

Well, technical english is kinda hard
I think that I've some documents which have to do with this field that's why I'll have to share them

I am sorry for my late responde
thank you for your interest
as i said before i am not specialist in english
i still need a lot of improvement
so the solution is that i will copy and past lessons with exercices here once a week
and we try to solve them together

Common prepositions of time

Prepositions are short words that show time, place, direction, etc
Let’s learn about these common prepositions of time: at, in, and on
We use:

At for :-clock time -specific time -noon – midnight – night – dinnertime –lunchtime – sunrise – sunset.

In for: - the morning –the afternoon –the evening –specific month –specific year -season –century.

On for: -Specific day of the week –weekend – specific date.

Examples:

• The meeting starts at 9:00.

• Come to my house at 7:30 pm.

• We eat lunch at noon.

• I am usually asleep at midnight

• We watch TV at night.

• Take off your hat at dinnertime.

• She wants pizza at lunchtime.

• We have free time on Monday.

• I play baseball on Thursdays.

• They unwrap presents on Christmas Day.

• My son always eats chocolate cake on his birthday.

• He has hockey practice on the weekend.

• I study English on (the) weekends.

• She has class on September 10.

• I am going to a party on the first of July.

• He has a doctor’s appointment on Monday, December 2.

• They got a new car on January 10, 2014.

• I take a shower in the morning

• You have English class in the afternoon.

• We study in the evening.

• My birthday is in June.

• She went to Europe in 2015.

• We go camping in the summer.

When we say last, next, every, this we do not also use at, in, on.

• I went to London last June. (not in last June)

• He's coming back next Tuesday. (not on next Tuesday)

• I go home every Easter. (not at every Easter)
