General Information

The aim of the ICBFE conference series is to provide a forum for laying the foundations of a new principled approach to Biotechnology and Food Engineering. To this end, the meeting aims to attract participants with different backgrounds, to foster cross-pollination between different research fields, and to expose and discuss innovative theories, frameworks, methodologies, tools, and applications.

The ICBFE 2012 is sponsored by Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES). Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference.

All papers of ICBFE 2012 will be published in the Volume of Journal ( IPCBEE, ISSN: 2010-4618), and all papers will be included in the Engineering & Technology Digital Library, and indexed by Ei Geobase(Elsevier), EBSCO, CNKI(中国知网), WorldCat, Google Scholar, and sent to be reviewed by Compendex and ISI Proceedings.

One Excellent Paper will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Excellent Papers will be awarded in the Welcome Banquet on August 5, 2012

"Water for Life"



Biohydrology 2013 addresses many contemporary issues surrounding water scarcity, climate change and increase pressure on land.

The conference focusses on the interaction between biological and hydrological systems, including positive impacts such as water harnessing and flood mitigation, and negative aspects including threats to food production, water repellency and environmental degradation through unsustainable land use practices.

Experts from hydrology, ecology, soil science,geography, forestry and engineering will meet together in a forum designed to get different disciplines working together.

The 12th International Conference on Flow Analysis, “Flow Analysis XII”, is a five-day scientific meeting covering all areas of modern trends and applications of chemical analysis in flow processing. Flow techniques, in their many forms, encompass a broad spectrum of analytical chemistry, and are used to enhance the capabilities of numerous other measurement techniques. They are used to perform almost all types of wet chemical operations and analyses including techniques based on continuous flow, segmented flow, intermittent flow, stopped flow and microflow on a chip. Flow analysis enables fast, precise and low-cost measurements, using small amount of samples with low reagent consumption, in accordance to the goals of green chemistry.
