Introduction

The aim objective of the International Conference on Medical and BioSciences (ICMBS) is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Medical and BioSciences. The 2013 International Conference on Medical and BioSciences (ICMBS 2013) will be held in Paris, France during October 12-13, 2013.

This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference.

All ICMBS 2013 papers will be published in the Journal of Medical and Bioengineering (JOMB, ISSN: 2301-3796), and all papers will be included in the Engineering & Technology Digital Library, and indexed by EBSCO, WorldCat, Google Scholar, Cross ref and sent to be reviewed by Ei Compendex and ISI Proceedings.

One Excellent Paper will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Excellent Papers will be awarded in the Welcome Banquet on October 13, 2013.

L'évolution des biotechnologies dans les domaines de l’environnement, de l’agronomie, de la recherche et de l’industrie conduit les sociétés à s’interroger sur son devenir.
Les techniques d’améliorations génétiques, qu’elles soient conduites en laboratoires ou appliquées sur terrain, offrent à l’Homme une source de savoirs et de savoir-faire novateurs adaptés à l’évolution des exigences indispensables à ses besoins, ensuite à la préservation de sa santé et de son environnement.
Ces réflexions ont besoin de diagnostics précis, d’analyses fiables et de productions innovantes, conduites avec un souci d’assurance, de qualité et de sécurité biologique.
Problématique
Les milieux steppiques représentent une grande diversité biologique, à travers les parcours steppiques, les forêts naturelles et artificielles, ces richesses tendent à disparaitre à cause d’inconscientes exploitations humaines.
Les atouts biotechnologiques que se soit sur le plan de l’amélioration génétique ou dans la valorisation des ressources naturelles, sont un outil essentiel de
préservation d’une grande partie de ces richesses pour nous ainsi que pour les générations futures dans une optique de développement durable.
La problématique traitée dans ce séminaire abordera les différents apports des biotechnologies et des techniques d’améliorations des plantes et des animaux
pour la valorisation, la préservation et la gestion des différentes ressources du milieu steppique.
Objectifs:
- Faire le point sur les différentes activités humaines liées d’une manière directe ou indirecte aux biotechnologies d’une part et aux différentes méthodes
permettant d’augmenter le rendement et la productivité des ressources génétiques du milieu steppique d’autre part;
- S’informer sur les différentes techniques et outils de biotechnologies (végétales et animales) et leurs divers champs d’application;
- Elargir les techniques d’améliorations naturelles et biologiques des plantes, principalement la mycorhization;
- Elargir les techniques de contrôle de reproduction chez les animaux d’élevage;
- Sensibiliser les décideurs et les industriels quant à l’importance de la valorisation.
De plus cette manifestation va permettre de:
- Faire le point sur l’état d’avancement de la recherche scientifique dans le domaine des biotechnologies abordées dans les milieux steppiques ;
- Connaître les résultats de la recherche scientifique réalisée dans les domaines d’amélioration des productions végétales et animales ;
- Promouvoir la recherche dans les domaines des biotechnologies et améliorations des productions végétales et animales.

Les auteurs dont la proposition de communication aura été retenue doivent envoyer le texte complet de la communication n’excédant pas 08 pages en format Word (Times New Roman 11, titre en 12, simple interligne). Si les manuscrits sont écrits en français, une traduction en anglais du titre et un résumé en anglais doivent être ajoutés après les références bibliographiques et inversement.

Abstracts shall not exceed 250 words written in MS Word or a compatible format. State the name(s) of author(s) [the name of presenting author should be underlined], institute, city, country and email address shall be provided via e-mail as attached file. Abstract submissions will start on April 1st 2013 and will end September 20th, 2013. Absract submissions can be made to the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee through Congress web page. Corresponding author can indicate whether he/she wants to present his/her paper as oral or poster. The corresponding author shall register for congress in following 15 days after his/her abstract’s acceptance. Otherwise, the abstracts will not be included in the program. All accepted abstracts will be published in a special Book of Abstracts and/or in CD. Accepted abstracts will be made available on Congress web page after acceptance. The last day of the publishing of the abstracts on congress web page is 20th October 2013. The final version of congress program will be on the web page 15 days before beginning of the Congress.

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
General Information

The congress will be organized by Plant Breeders Sub-Union of Turkey (BİSAB) together with Turkish Plant Breeders Association (TUBID), Turkish Seed Union (TURKTOB), ECO Seed Association (ECOSA), along with other such national and international organizations. The congress will be under three different sections as field and horticultural crops and genetic resources. It is intended that the subjects should be kept broad in order to provide opportunity to the science community to present their work as oral or poster presentations that can be off value for plant breeding.

As there have been many different scientific meetings around the world, we intended to bring three different community together, namely science, research and private investment, in a friendly environment of Antalya / Turkey to share what they have and get benefit from each other.

BISAB is a young organization established in 2008 as being the legal representative of Turkish Plant Breeders. Anybody who runs a breeding program is becoming member to BISAB. Further information about BİSAB is available in BISAB web page www.bisab.org.tr

The Laboratory of Excellence Saclay Plant Sciences (SPS) is very pleased to invite you to its first International Conference.

As sessile organisms, all plants have the capacity to sense and respond to changing conditions in their environment to appropriately modify their development and physiology. During land colonization, different plant species have used diverse strategies to cope with largely variable environmental conditions. Although a great amount of knowledge has been accumulated in many areas of plant biology, the molecular mechanisms underlying signaling and adaptation to the environment are still largely unclear. It is the aim of this conference to discuss the latest discoveries on how plants respond to changes in their abiotic and biotic environmental conditions. The conference will look at different strategies revealed by studying natural variation, highlighting novel insights into the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms, and showcase how this knowledge can be applied to improve crop production to meet the needs of the future.

The SPS project was created in 2011 as part of a French government policy to promote scientific excellence. It is composed of 4 Institutes which are the Institut des Sciences du Végétal (Plant Science Institute) at Gif-sur-Yvette, the Institut de Biologie des Plantes (Plant Biology Institute) at Orsay, the Unité de Recherche en Génomique Végétale (Plant Genomics Institute) at Evry & the Institut Jean-Pierre Bourgin at INRA, Versailles.

The first SPS Conference will take place in Evry, very close to Paris, on July 4-6, 2013.

La signalisation des plantes dans un environnement fluctuant

Le Laboratoire d'Excellence Sciences des Plantes de Saclay (SPS) a le plaisir de vous inviter à son premier Congrès International.

En tant qu'organismes sessiles, toutes les plantes ont la capacité de détecter et de répondre à l'évolution des conditions de leur environnement afin de modifier de manière appropriée leur physiologie et leur développement . Au cours de la colonisation terrestre, des espèces végétales différentes ont développé diverses stratégies pour faire face à des conditions environnementales extrêmement variées. Bien qu'une grande quantité de connaissances ait été accumulée dans de nombreux domaines de la biologie végétale, les mécanismes moléculaires de signalisation et d'adaptation sous-jacents n'ont toujours pas été élucidés. Le but de cette conférence est de discuter des dernières découvertes concernant la réponse des plantes aux changements des conditions environnementales abiotiques et biotiques. La conférence se penchera sur différentes stratégies révélées par l'étude de la variabilité naturelle, mettant en évidence des informations nouvelles sur les mécanismes génétiques et épigénétiques, et montrera comment ces connaissances peuvent être appliquées à l'amélioration de la production des plantes cultivées pour satisfaire les besoins futurs.

Le Laboratoire d'Excellence SPS a été créé en 2011 dans le cadre des Investissements d'Avenir. Il est composé de 4 instituts de recherche: l'Institut des Sciences du Végétal (Gif-sur-Yvette), l'Institut de Biologie des Plantes (Orsay), l'Unité de Recherche en Génomique Végétale (Evry) et l'Institut Jean-Pierre Bourgin (Versailles).

Instructions aux auteurs
Les résumés ne doivent pas dépasser les 250 mots,
en respectant les instructions suivantes : format A4,
marges 2,5, caractères : Times New Roman, police
12, interligne 1,5 ; avec en haut de la page, le titre
(en majuscules et en gras) suivi des noms des
auteurs et leurs adresses, et en bas du résumé les
mots clés (5 au maximum).
Les résumés accompagnés de la fiche d’inscription,
sont à envoyer par voie électronique aux adresses
indiquées ci-dessous.
