my simlple definition is:
عندما يجتمع كل كل افراد العائلة كل يوم الجمعة وعلى طبق الكسكسي فإعلم أنك جزائري

*عندما يعتبرونك قاصر عند تركك لبيت الوالدين وأنت في سن الثلاثين فإعلم أنك جزائري وإبن جزائري

*اذا كان غدا إن شاء الله هو اليوم الذي تخطط لفعل كل شيئ فيه فإعلم أنك جزائري

*اذا قلت كلمة ان شاء الله 60 الف مرة في جملة واحدة فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما توقف سيارتك ثلاثة أمتار قبل الإشارة الحمراء لتكون أول من يقلع عند ظهور الإشارة الخضراء بينما تكون آخر من ينطلق لأنك ببساطة لم تنتبه فإعلم أنك جزائري

*عندما تخرج ملابس الشتاء لمجرد انخفاض درجة الحرارة تحت الدرجة 25 فأنت فعلا جزائري

*عندما تقول (شكون) اي من الطارق حين يطرق أحد الباب كأنك لا تستطيع إنتظار الخطوتين التي تفصلك عن الباب لتعرف من الطارق
بينما لو كنت أنت الطارق فترد وببساطة بـ أنا دون ذكر اسمك طبعا كأنها كلمة السر التي تخول أيا كان بالدخول حينها تأكد أنك جزائري

*عندما تزعم أنك في فترة حمية (ريجيم) وتمتنع عن وضع السكر في قهوتك بينما تشربها مع ثلاث حبات كرواصون فأنت جزائري

*عندما تتصل بعد منتصف الليل بصديق لك دون أن تشعر بالحرج وتسأله كأنك لا تعرف : وقيلة نوضتك ؟؟ هل أيقضتك؟؟ فأنت 100 بال100 جزائري

*عندما ترفع صوتك في إتصال مع صديق خارج حدود الوطن إقتناعا منك أنه قد لا يسمعك لأنه بعيد فأنت دون شك جزائري

*عندما تكون كلمة الله غالب هي الجواب الذي تعلل به كل أخطائك فأنت والله جزائري

*عندما يكون ردك لاباس الحمد لله حتى وان كنت في اسوأ حالاتك اذا سألك احدهم كيف حالك فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما لا يعلم حتى أقرب المقربين إليك كم تتقاضى شهريا فأنت جزائري

*عندما تفتح هداياك بتأن و بطريقة تسمح لك باعادة استعمال ورق الهدايا لاحقا فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما تنادي سيدة ليست من اقاربك بقولك "خالتي" او "يما" اي امي فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما تاكل تترك اللحم الى الاخير فانك والله جزائري

* عندما تمتلك اكتر من 100% من الاقراص المضغوطة Cd ببيتك غير اصلية "مقرصنة" فاعلم انك جزائري ومايفوتك شيئ بخصوص التكنولوجيا والاعلام الآلي

* عندما يكون قراج "garage " منزلكم مليئ بأشياء غالبا لا تستعملها لكنك تحتفظ بها ما عرفت يمكن يجي شي نهار تحتاجها" فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما كنت صغيرا كان والداك يشتريان لك ملابس غالبا ما تكون اكبر منك بمقاسين علئ الاقل كي تستغلها لمدة اطول فاعلم انك جزائري ابن جزائريان

*عندما تبوس ايدك لما تحك بيها عينك فوالله انك جزائري

* عندما تحتاج لصديق ترن له 10 مرات حتى يكره من رناتك ويجي هو لحد عندك فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما تنادي أي احد تعرفو ولا ماتعرفوش خويا أو أختي حتى ولو كنت في الخارج تقول mon fréreخاصة المغتربين حتى ظن الغرب ان كل الجزائريين اخوة من ام واب واحد فاعلم انك جزائري

*عندما تدخل على بيت من البيوت ليلا فترى افراده نائمون في فناء البيت او على سطحه فاعلم انك عند عائلة جزائرية

We might not be as developed as Japan, or as "civilized" as the USA in your point of view, but we're doing what we can and we're trying to make a step forward

I am proud of being Algerian and I will always be untill my last breath, Why? If you're asking this question then you obviously never read our history

I am proud to be algerian, because even though we're poor, even though most of us study hard knowing we might not get a job in the end...We're free people, we say what we think, we hold on into our religion, we never eat while our neighboor is hungry, and at the worst times we say that god will find us a way out

I am proud to be algerian, because when you're algerian, you don't need "a reason" to be proud, just having that tittle is the greatest previlege that you could ever have

I did n't read all your comments but I want to say congratulation to those who love their country even thoiugh the dificulties and to those here and directly ha (if you don't like Algeria) change your nationality and go to Egypt or any other country because too simply you don't deserve the title of Algerian........and If you want some extra explanation type any word to reply just to see your comments ............

honestly thinking algerians has renewed and invented many things so no reason to be desapointed for holding this nationality , for instance they've transformed city into a big village, they've transformed the governomental administaration into a big family, and the most important they have did is the invention of a blind deaf citizen who scan everything around him, apparently we are like european no one care about the other, but in reality we all knoiw everything about everyone
