The part He is a doctor is a sentence

)[The part isn't he is the tag question



We have to put a comma between the sentence and the tag question

and since the tag question is a question,it has to end with a question mark

If the sentence is in the affirmative form,the tag question should be in the negative form

and if the sentence is in the negative form,the tag question should be in the affirmative form

[If the verb of the sentence is the verb to be in the affirmative form,we use ,in the tag question,isn't or aren't

[If it is another verb in the present simple, we use don't or doesn't

If it is another verb in the past simple, we use didn't

If it is a verb in the future, we use won't

and so on
