A beached whale, found dead on a beach in Provincetown, Massachusetts, with a giant swollen tongue





This deadly snake bit off more than it could chew when the toad it had lined up for lunch turned the tables on it. Tourist Ran Longzhong spotted the venomous snake - believed to be a banded krait - pounce on the giant toad. But as the snake prepared to sink its fangs into an easy meal, the toad opened its massive mouth and began swallowing it alive at Qingcheng Mountain park in Sichuan, central China. "It took him about five minutes to gobble the whole thing down while the snake was struggling to get free. He was biting and snapping at the toad but he couldn't seem to get near him," said Ran
