thank you for your efforts but I have a remark
concerning the word smashes it contains 1 syllable you know why?because a syllable is a unit of pronounciation uttered without interruption,forming whole or part of a word ,AND USUALLY HAVING ONE VOWEL OR DIPHTONG SOUND optionally surrounded by one or more consonants
the same thing concerning the word careful it contains 2 syllables

كلمة smashes بها two syllables لأن es ينطقان iz و هو مقطع و smash تعتبر مقطعا

إذن فهناك مقطعان اثنان
