a family-break-up

The wife addresses her husband
Your heart is made of stone
as you departed and left us alone
Many sins you have sown
and for which you must atone>
You're incredibly selfish and irresponsible>
and your management of the household is terrible>
I suffered to keep the family united>
While you aren't involved and uninterested>

>The husband retaliates

Our union has grown so drab>

and mutual understanding was hard to grab>
Thus our inevitable doom is to break up>
Marital happiness is a mirage >
Oft under pursuit but ends with outrage>
It's difficult to achieve despite patience>
Great mettle and countless concessions>

The children intervene

We are the victims of this plight
Innocent losers of your silly fight>
You are both at fault>
And surely you are both to blame
So you will go to court
It's a blatant shame>
Forget and forgive to end the altercation>
And re-establish love and amicable communication
