present simple in direct speach become past simple in indirect speach
ex:sana said:iam happy today
sana said that she was happy that day
but if the introductoy verb is in the present the tense of the indirect sentence doesn't change
ex:the journalists say :adolescents make plans with their computers
the journalists say that adolescents make plans with their computres
introductoy vrebs are
to say .to tell.to inform. to replay . to answer
