The Nobel Peace Prize is one of the five Nobel Prizes created by the Swedish industrialist, inventor, and armaments manufacturer Alfred Nobel , along with the prizes in Chemistry, Physics , Physiology or Medicine, and Literature. Since 1901 , it has been awarded annually to those who have "done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses . Per Alfred Nobel's will, the recipient is selected by the Norwegian Nobel Committee, a 5-member committee appointed by the Parliament of Norway . Since 1990, the prize is awarded on 10 December in Oslo City Hall each year . The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded 94 times to 126 Nobel Laureates between 1901 and 2013, 101 individuals and 25 organizations. Since the International Committee of the Red Cross has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize three times (in 1917, 1944 and 1963), and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize two times ( in 1954 and 1981 ), there are 22 individual organizations which have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize . Shirin Ebadi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her Significant and pioneering efforts for democracy and human rights , especially women's, children's and refugee rights . Recep Tayyip Erdoğan born 26 February 1954 is the 25th and current Prime Minister of Turkey, in office since 2003 . We chose Bouteflika as a candidate to get the 2014 Nobel peace prize because he did great thing to set peace in Algeria , He put the law of civil concord , he forgive the terrorist in the condition of stopping terrorism , So everything was settled then and life came back to normal . And Rajab Tayib Ardogan . He's a strong candidate to win the prize . wherever you find war ( especially in Arabic countries ) He helped people gaza before . helped many countries who were in revolution ( especially Syria Now ) he stood against the American decision to send U.N army to Syria because he knows how thing would be like latter on . |
