the boy had a very personal method that he applied first to english. then to all the ********s he learnt subsequently. this method consist in reading a lot. without ever translation. moreover. every day. he would take a lesson with a teacher who had him write short passages about subjects he had chosen. then he corrected them with him. explaning his mistakes at lentght. in the evenings. he learnt his corrected text by heart and the next day. he would recite iit in full.
in order to acquire a good accent. he went to the english church to listen to the sermons.

كان للصبي الصغير طريقة شخصية للغاية طبقها في بادئ الأمر على اللغة النجليزية ثم على كافة اللغات التي تعلمها فيما بعد ,و تعتمد هذه الطريقة على المطالعة الكثفة من دون أية ترجمة, علاوة على ذلك كان يوميا يتلقى درسا من أستاذه الذي يجعله يكتب فقرات قصيرة حول مواضيع مختارة ثم كان يصححها معه شارحا له أخطاءه بالتفصيل و في الأمسيات كان يحفظ النص منقحا عن ظهر قلب , و في اليوم الموالي كان يستظهر به كاملا , و من أجل اكتساب نطق سليم كان يذهب الى الكنيسة الانجليزية من أجل الاستماع الى المواعظ.

on the street of london.there are an estimated 50.000 homless people between the ages of 16 and 19 .and their number is increasing rapidly . many come from other parts of britain . looking for work and a better life.
it's 11:30 on a cold friday night at the national arts centre in london . fashionable men and women are leaving the building . they have spent a wonderful evening to one of europe's best orchestras-now they're going home . but a few yards away . underneath the same building . ther's another world. here are the people who have no homes. no place to go exept perhaps for the carboard boxes they use to keep out the cold winds and rain.

في شوارع لندن ,يتواجد ما يقارب 50.000 متشرد تتراوح أعمالاهم بين 16 و 19 سنة و عددهم في تزايد مضطرد. و ينزح الكثير منهم من أنحاء أخرى من بريطانيا بحثا عن العمل و عن حياة أفضل.
انها الساعة11و 300 دقيقة ,في ليلة جمعة باردة , و بالمركز الوطني للفنون بلندن , رجال و نساء متأنقون يغادرون المكان, لقد قضو سهرة رائعة برفقة واحدة من أفضل الفرق الموسيقية الكلاسيكسة الأوروبية(أوركسترا)و ها هم الآن عائدون لبيوتهم , و على بعد أمتار قليلة و تحت نفس البنلية يوجد عالم آخر. و هنا الناس لا يملكون بيوتا و لا مكان يقصدونه ربما باسثناء علب من الورق المقوى

busmen have decided to go on strike next week .the strike is due to begin on tuesday . no one knows how long it will last . the busmen have started that the srike will continue until general agreement is reached about pay and working conditions .most people believe that the strike will at least a week then. while a number of university students have volentered to drive buseswhile the strike lasts.

قرر سائقو الحافلات الدخول في اضراب ابتداءا من الأسبوع المقبل و من المقرر أن يدخل حيز التنقيذ يوم الثلاثاء و سيستغرق هذا الضراب مدة غير محدودة زمنيا. و صرح سائقوا الحافلات أن الاضراب سيتواصل على مدى أسبوع على الأقل و في هذه الأثناء تتطوع عدد من طلاب الجامعات لقيادة الحافلات الى حين انقضاء مدة الضراب.

fishing is my favorite sport . i often fish four hours without catching anything .but this does not worry me . some fishermen are unlucky . instead of catching fish . they catch old boots and rubbish . i'm even less lucky .i never catch anything .not even old boots . after having spent in whole morning on the river . i always go home with an empty bag -you must give up fishing !- my friends say . it's a waste give of time but they don't realize one important thing i'm not realy intersted in fishing i'm only intersted is sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all


الصيد هو هوايتي المفضاة فكثيرا ما أمضي ساعات في الصيد دون الامساك بأي شئ لكن هذا لا يزعجني فبعض صيادي السمك لا يحالفهم الحظ فعوض اصطياد السمك يلتقطون جزما قديمة و قارورات و أنا أقلهم حظا فأنا لا أصطاد شيئا و لو جزما قديما .بعد أن امضي كل الصباح في النهر أعود دائما الى البيت صفر اليدين ,نصحني أصدقائي -أترك الصيد انه مضيعة للوقت- .لكنهم لا يدركون أمرا واحدا مهما و هو أنني لست مهتنا بصيد الأسماك فكل مل يستهويني هو الجلوس في القارب دون فعل أي شئ.

first you must understand the concept of translation wich are
-a transfer of meaning in words and phrases by association of idea
-translation is the replacement of textual matrial in one ********s by *****alent textual matrial in other ********.in this definition the most important thing is *****alent textual material.
-translation is made possible by an *****alent of thought that lies behind its different verbal expressions.
-translation consists of reproducing in the receptor ******** the closest natural *****alent of the source ******** message first in terms of meaning and secondly in terms of style
-translation is the general term reffering to the transfer of thoughts and ideas from one ********s (source) to another (target) wether the ********s are in wrritten or oral form.
-translation is a transfer process wich aims at the transformation of a written sl text into an optimally *****alent tl text and wich requires the syntactic the semantic and the progmatic understanding and analytical processing of the sl
you must keep in your mind
1/when you translate there is a change of expression from one ******** to an other according to the system of the ********
2/the meaning and message are renderd faithfully and objectively in the tl and 3/ you as a translator have an obligation to seek for the closest *****alent in the tl it means the direct and iclosest natural *****alent
