Question :Explain what is Child Labour and how to fight it or what are the solutions proposed to eradicate it?




ANSWER:


It cannot be denied that many developing countries are witnessing cases of child labour. Cases of child labour still exist in many countries like India, Pakistan , Indonesia , Guatemala and China. Child labour happens mainly when children from poor families are forced to work at early age : from 5 to 14 years old. They are deprived from schooling and learning. Compared to other children coming from rich families, they do not enjoy amusing childhood moments and parental care. They often work under severe working conditions with low salaries and no insurance. In some cases, they suffer from inhuman treatment . They work for long hours without relax. If we examine the causes of child labour ,we will find poverty , jobless or divorced parents , lack of schools or weak employment regulations. Among the key solutions
to eradicate child : governments should pass strict regulations to protect children’s rights . More schools should be built in order to provide schooling opportunities .Poor families should have financial aid so as they can send their children to school. Finally, all governmental organizations and mass media should launch campaigns to sensitize all parents about the
importance of education in the adult life of their children
