m in 2nd year nd we delt with this statements :
_ the most important things in life are not learnt at school or college
_ You are never too old to learn
_ we learn to live or we live to learn
_ some people believe that children nowadays have too much freedom, others believe that children are protected too much by their parents
_ if money brieng happiness

this topics in ESP but u can discuss them in Oral exp

_some people think that government should spend as much money as possible on protecting the environment, others think this money should be spent on other things such as education and healthcare .
_Is more important to have a job you enjouy doing than a job which pays well ?
_ some people prefer to live in the countryside , others prefer to live in a big city ,
_ what are the good and bad things about traveling ?
