Inside This Clown

A man with a white face and a big red nose,
A man with huge feet and a silly pose,
This man, smiling big, has a hidden frown,
This man, is who the world calls a clown,
With his silly jokes he makes people laugh,
But no one bothers to know what's in his heart,
This life in the circus he didn't choose to be,
He would run away if he could, and be free,
But he won't find a place or something to do,
He doesn't know what's outside, he has no clue,
For he was born here and since lived this way,
Made to act for the show and always seem gay,
He has his dreams and is sober from inside,
Acting forcefully this way has made him cry,
He sees people around who are truly clowns,
Roaming free and spreading nusance in the town,
He stands infront of the mirror after the show,
Despises himself as he has no where to go,
He wants to be creative and do a lot more,
He can be successful in anything, he's sure,
But he's watched over wherever he goes,
Tied to this life forever, this he knows,
Circus is his home and thats all he's got,
The world has turned him into someone he's not
