The Algerian school of six years, Mohamed Farah Djeloud, won the final of the international reading competition '' Arab Reading Challenge 'Monday in the United Arab Emirates on the first prize of this edition.

The award, valued at $ 150,000 (about $ 17 million), was awarded at a ceremony in Dubai in the presence of the UAE Prime Minister and cultural figures from Arab countries. The youngest of the contestants, the school boy won the title among two other young competitors, namely Rua Hamoud of Jordan and Oulaa El Bakali of Bahrain.
Primary school pupil Bettou Constantine Djeloud was chosen from the 610,000 Algerian candidates in the three-phase local qualifiers in September 2015. He was nominated for the title and the pleasure of reading the Arabs along with 17 other candidates from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon And others. The "gifted" student allowed the organizers to read nearly fifty books of Arabic literature, history and biographies in record time. Under the patronage of the Ruler of Dubai and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates in partnership with MBC Media Group. The competition was launched in September 2015 and aims to encourage reading in schools and universities in Arab countries, according to its designers.
