Overview
This is a 3-day knowledge event that brings together scholars, professionals, practitioners and graduate students that are interested or are actively engaged in research and application of innovative to development. The conference aims at facilitating multidisciplinary research on developing country issues and advancing appropriate solutions to development challenges within this context.
Conference Tracks : The event aims at facilitating multidisciplinary research on developing country issues and advancing appropriate solutions to development challenges within this context.
The Conference deliberations will be based on the following themes:
Track 1: Entrepreneurship and Business Management;
Track 2: Economics, Money, Banking and Finance, and Accounting;
Track 3: ICTs, e-business, Mobile Computing, E-learning, e-government;
Track 4: Agriculture, Agribusiness, Food Production and Safety, and Tourism;
Track 5: Mining and Energy, Engineering and Local Adaptations;
Track 6: Policy, Regulation, Governance, Security and Conflict Resolution;
Track 7: Environmental and Public Health, and Nutrition; and
Track 8: Research Philosophy, Methodology and Application
Other topics relevant to the theme will also be welcome.
Space has been provided on the final day for practitioners (including entrepreneurs, policy makers and development facilitators) to share their experiences of what they think works and doesn’t.
Also running parallel on this day will be a half-day workshop for masters and doctoral students.
Call for RiD 2016 Conference Papers
A call is now being made for papers that focus on the various aspects that bring out contextual issues affecting the pursuit of sustainable development.
Deadline for submission of abstracts: ongoing.
Deadline for submission of draft full papers: 31st January, 2016
Deadline for submission of revised papers: 21st February, 2016.

Conference Participation Fees
A conference fee of $200 will be payable by 20th February, 2016. This covers participation for the 3 days, and includes conference material, lunches and snacks.
Early bird discounts are available.
Early Bird Discount A (payment by 31st Dec, 2015)
Individual- $165,
Group rate - $150 per participant.
Early Bird Discount B (payment by 31st Jan, 2016)
Individual - $180,
Group rate - $165 per participant.

Group rate- $185 per participant
Note: group rate is applicable for 7 or more people and an additional $85 is payable by participants presenting papers.
