Marital happiness is a mirage >
Oft under pursuit but ends with outrage>
It's difficult to achieve despite patience>
Great mettle and countless concessions>

The children intervene

We are the victims of this plight
Innocent losers of your silly fight>
You are both at fault>
And surely you are both to blame
So you will go to court
It's a blatant shame>
Forget and forgive to end the altercation>
And re-establish love and amicable communication
