Gaza is yours ... Gaza is mine

I take the role of a Palestinian child from Gaza
and I write this short and modest poem .

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

Happy new year 2009 !
If you feel that you are fine ,
Watch the news on T.V. online .
To see what happens here in Palestine .

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

No electricity … No light .
No water … No sleep at night .
But we fight and we shall fight .
Until Palestine takes its right .

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

Everyday many people die .
Everyday many children cry .
And the world with no reply .
Please , answer me : “ Why ? ”

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

Israel shows the white feather :
They kill my father… They kill my mother .
They kill my sister … They kill my brother .
But we shall meet in paradise , God willing , together .

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

You forget us even when you pray .
In the five times of the day .
Muslims are mute … What can I say ?
“ Perhaps , your ability has given way . ”

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

We are alone . No one helps us ; none.
We have Allah ; The Helper One.
And the patience has been our only gun.
We are sure ; tomorrow we shall see the sun.

GAZA IS YOURS … GAZA IS MINE

Oh ? Before I put my sad pen .
Where will Israel be in 2010 ?
Be careful ! You are the next hen .
Because of the plans of mice and men.

God bless you ikram but do you think that Gaza needs now this kind of songs as it is shown in the video
Stop ...we say they need acts not songs and words
words are not enough ...acts speak louder

Unfortunately we Muslims are nowadays driven by sympathy. It happened before and will happen again that many Muslim crowds will have this kind of anger fading away and will eventually return to consume different Israelis’ products such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, etc. By the way generally speaking the Saudis cannot pass food through without having a glass of Pepsi (Bebsi called over there). Let’s see after some months if our support for Palestinians sustains.
