if a song affect you it should be representing you , coz when a song affect you that mean it has an echo inside your inner, but some songs can please us but in the same time deplease us because of bad meaning or dirty words... in this case we listen to it we like the beautiful side and the rest concern nobody ... lady gaga comes to my mind lot of ppl dislike her but she has beautiful songs
