hi, well this topic is always put on the scene and the attitudes differs whether according to a man or to a woman although that i know 99% of women would say i'm with, here's my point of you
...
my first perspective: the divine order came from above saying " ( o women) stay in your houses" that means the natural position and place for the woman that Allah (swt) deems it to be the most appropriate for her is her house
that is, if a married woman has a husband who can insure a dignified life for her, she needs to stay home
...
my second perspective: if a woman is obliged to work, and she may not find any money to spend for herself, it's ok to work
there are specific fields appropriate for women such as medecine because we need a woman doctor to treat our sisters and daughters

I don't think that girls would like to go to school and study hard if at the end they will stay home, in the other hand I don't think that those who are against the work of woman are against her school education too, In my opinion if we want civilisation we have to accept some of its bad aspects, today no one want to marry a woman who can't read a letter! but the woman who know how to read and write want to do something special than home chores and looking after kids, in all ways kids grow up fastly and no reason then to keep a woman at home

Hi every one here Man and Women.....first of all I want to say that I agree with
Mr (spy4me) you're alright in all what you said.
for those who acclaim that woman has many things to do and so special with her work.......we don't need woman to work inorder to know her roles no no women is unevitable and they are a main element of society.
If a married womlan stay home and nurtures her children she would do something very very special......
secondly to all women right here when I read the topic of our sister (abid.en) I knew that the majority of women would agree with the work of women ofcourse My humble opininion is that I agree but for those who are really in need to work inorder to provide money and we know Algerian's daily life. there are some woman who are working for their parents because they are old and no one could provide and support if their daughter work so where is the problem here?
another field which is "Education" I saw and I see that there are too many teachers I mean women suffering from problems with pupils and I know very very sad situations and I can't explain them just forget it and the question is why? if they are not obliged so why?
another dramatic idea.....I've a a friend normally he should be a teacher in a secondary school teaching French ******** whatever he did and so many times he tried to get a work in that establishement ofcourse he has no shoulders. when he spoke to the director of the department of education of his state.....he gave him a cold shoulder and the problem was on three teachers(women) got a job and they are younger and so new but my friend has been waiting for a long time so here another question to every body here we are with the work of women why not!!!!! but why high authorities employed the majority of womenand women and women only women why??? and Man stay jobless don't anybody try to hide something this is what we see in Algeria I work in an establishement where 80% of workers are women and I know many men staying outside watching waiting for big head punks to.........my final word is Hi women Hi Girls we are Man and we represeting Man we don't care if you work or not but at least if you have the opportunity to work.....another question will be done???? yes, you work, you gain money, you do what ever you like; but, you will never got the real happiness,a strong family, well educated children.

before wondering if women have to work or stay home, think to what push them at the first place to go out and work to get money, haven't you ever heard a father telling his girls I can't take in charge this family ? haven't you heard before a men asking his wife to help him because his salary can't be enough for the whole month ? in 1964 my grand mother started to work ...she was widow and she must feed 5 kids, my mother stopped working after she got married, but the situation got worse whith the coming of my fourth brother, she regreted it, my oldest sister sttopped university to work, she helped my father and she still did even after her marriage, when I got my first salary it was a great day for me, I shared it with all my family to make them happy, the man that I am planing to pursue this life with is unable to cover a family needs with his poor salary, so I will never stop working and I will help him

according to statistics, the number of men is less than women

for example in class, you would find 20 girls VS only 10 boys

the question is: if these ten boys married ten girls of the same class, what would hapen to the rest 10 girls??

This is a very touchy subject, & I've read pretty much all of your answers & they were pretty interesting

I think every woman should be educated and have a degree, regardless of the fact that she's gonna have a job in the futur or not, because these days there's no place for ignorant people & especially not ignorant women, also you might never know what's gonna happen, but if she has a degree she can take care of herself

Now, am I with or against women working? Well, it depends

Not only on the woman, but also on her financial situation and her husband and familly

If her husband's payement isn't enough to take care of the house & the kids then she should work and help him out

If her father can't take care of the familly, then she should work and help him out

If she isn't married, and she needs money, then she should work to help herself out

Really, you can't give an answer to this question, because it just depends on the situation

Both of my sisters are married with kids, one of them is an english teacher & the other one is a teacher in the university, and both of them didn't start working until their children grew up and are now at least able to ask for food if they're hungry & go to the bathroom on their own

My sister's arguments are that, first of all they didn't study for years to just sit around and clean up the house, and second of all that they want to have their own money and do whatever they want with it

Also if a woman has to work, then she should at least work in a field suited for her, like teacher, or in hospitals, or in shops, or something like that, not a police officer or a fire fighter

Also, my sister said that she never realized how important for her as a mother to be educated until her daughter started going to school and she needed her help because she had trouble talking and understanding, especially with this new educational system

Personnaly, I'm studying really hard to become a doctor, I also plan on being a writer

But when I think of myself being married and having kids...Well, I want to work really bad, because I don't want all of these years of my life to be wasted, but also I want to be a good mother & wife, and be there for my children, so..I don't know, I'll think about that when I'm at least 25 xD

Also, everyone here is like "She studies for nothing", I think the concept of "Study to get a job" is wrong, we don't study to work, we study to be educated women, and be equal with men, not in coming home at 23h, and being a police officer, and spending our days outside, but on the intellectual level, I'm sure all of the guys in here agree that they want to be with someone they could at least have a sophisticated conversation with
