السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته
صح فطوركم

These are 20 days gone of ramadan, each one of us as muslims has his own way of spending the day of ramadan but what is commun without a doubt here in algeria a set of bad behaviour or let’s say habits, especially the youth ; sleeping all the day and even missing the prayers time, fights everywhere and because of silly matters, even killing, you can read the newspapers what’s going on in algeria, this is a girl stabbs her father till death, that’s a young man commits a suicide and so on…
is that what it should to be ? Ramadan the month when the soul misses its creator and feels comfortable by being close to him, the month of merci and forgiveness turns to a month when the crime gets the top.
May allah guide us to the right path. Amen

yes indded!..there's a lot of people who misunderstand the real meaning of ramadan ,someone who falls asleep all day and misses the prayer time as you said and then thinks that he did something good must think again cauz the prayer comes first and before the fasting
..speaking of the bad behaviors , those people aren't good neither in ramadan nor in the ordinary days
fasting to them isn't a worship ..it's some kind of thing wich their parents do and all the muslim nation , something
!!they used to do. so they do and whatever the way they don't care

You are right, these things that happen make you wonder are we really in the month of Ramadan? But we are really in it, then what is this?
may God guide us.
thank you.
