Assalam,alk

Eid mubarek. May Allah accept our fasting, prayers and deeds. We will be celebrating it here, in the UK, on Wednesday inshAllah. All the best and happy days, I wish I was at home.

Wassalam

N.B:Some Muslim communities have already celebrated Eid on Tuesday, but the majority is for it to be on Wesdnesday.

Thank you sister imene-ch for the concern. I cannot make it for this Eid due to my tight schedule. But most probably eid adha will be inshAllah in my home town.

As a side advise, you all should really enjoy every moment you are with your family and relatives. It is just a blessing that we cannot see till we miss it.
Nice picture hairless :)

In response to your question sister on the eid’s atmosphere here in the UK. I should say that it differs from a city to another, a big city with large Muslim community would have much more activities with different flavors. But generally speaking, the Eid here will start with zakat donation (£5 per individual for this year) then followed by a sermon (khutbah). Following that, we start socializing over a delicious, provided for free, lunch. Then it is up to people to disperse or stay to pray Zuhur ( in the hall) with children having games program afterwards.
All of these, even though they are sweet, but will never ever reach to Eid at home!

Eid mubarak
May Allah accept our good deeds
Inchallah we reach next ramadhan and eid in good health so we can pray Allah properly

You're right Chedad; Eids are never sweet if far from home
I spent it this time at work i couldn't resist my tears
May Allah shorten distances between muslim families

Salamu Aleikum
