all we know about the west cultural invading in our arab countries, this phenomenon is still spreading through our arab nation and touches the youths generaly and the teens particulary, and as a result, a lot of them feel lost with no of identity ; imitating their clothes style, changing the look, obssessing with their singers and actors, and sometimes and that’s the most dangerous is imitating their behaviour. And between this and that, the teen fails to construct an independent personnality that expresses really to what he belongs. So what are the reasons behind this phenomenon ? who’s responsible for that ? and how could we solve it
?

well , i guess it is being exposed to media . Media plays a vital role in convincing people to change their views and become nothing like their culture. thanks for the topic

it's a great and important topic to be discussed brother spy7me, since it touches our national , Arabic, and Islamic identity
As you said this phenomenon touches generally the youths, and this is my humble opinion, because they are suffering from unconsciousness, I mean, they are unaware about what's going on behind the scene. It's a kind of cultural war, , a war unfortunately we're being defeated,something else, this phenomenon takes place throughout the world, I mean, it's not restricted only to Arab countries
my opinion about the reason and the way to solve it will come later ,probably tomorow when I have time

One of the reasons behind this phenomenon , as it's mentioned earlier, is the media, which plays a great role in changing people's way of thinking and makes them convinced that the west is the best in whatever domain of life, as a result, we see especially the youths imitate their style of living regardless if it's in accordance or not with our Islamic teachings and Arabic culture
One of the ways to solve or at least reduce the negative effects of this phenomenon is to take care much of the teens and make them grown up upon a solid personality which allows them to determine between the bad and the wrong

Teens are so difficult to deal with , i remember how hard my mother describes that period... i guess being friends with them is better than forcing them to do things they believe they hate ... i have read that teens are in search of thier identity and once they find it ... they directly change to the normal but parents should be there evaluting and looking from the above ... not so close that they lead thier child to see them as old and old fashioned

since this phenomenon is a plan made behind the scene, we can say it is a project first of all, and sometimes i release my mind to think that it has religious intentions, the west know that this category of people "the youth" in a period they like to be free from all restrictions and that's exactly their policy, they claim the freedom and democracy to spread their "sick" culture.
you've mentioned a tool that play a major role in this process which is the media, but the question is: are we ready to get rid of their films, songs, shows...etc

i believe we cannot get rid of their everything because we need them to learn thier culture and L.a.n.g.u.a.ge ... it is difficult to be solved as a problem really ... we need ages to be the same as they are in progress

isn't it right to teach our children how to stick to their real identity rather than keeping the hands folded and saying we need them? im not talking about l.a.n.g.u.a.g.e.s students despite those are required only to study not more, im talking about those people who are addicted to all what's foreign especially the american one.
i have a friend who's completely an american boy he has changed since he entered their world, the reason was as you've said before the media and the absence of parents role, he's very affected and that's surely will influence his life when he finds himself colliding with the reality

well,the influnce of the west depends of the awareness of the youthes
and as far as they songs and foreing films continues i don't think that this phenomenon will stop but it will continues increase

because,we missing the awareness of youths
for this phenomenon is responsible for parents in the beginning but then the only one respensible for that youth in it self
for the solution may be the awareness campaign through the media but i don't think it can bring benefit

you are right actually in everything you ve said
for me, i think that none is responsible for what happen now but the teenager himself, because as we see in this generation no one has a hand on another; starting with parents at home, i guess we all know that teenagers)the majority of them( hate when the others intervene in their own business,
what can we do !, nothing
just remember who truly we are and walk on the right way we feel it s suitable for us and ask ALLAH to guide us
