so u can start like this

If most water lequid freezes to become denser.it becomes lighter
As you fill pan of water with ice cubes.you note that unmelted particles remain at the surface.
Because the frozen water lighter than water in liquid form
.
If water becomes ice .it expands and it exerts pressure.
If you fill a glass bottle and you put it in the freezer.the bottle breaks.
