Presentation
CRTSE and DCRD/Sonatrach are organizing a Workshop on Materials and Concepts for Solar Photovoltaic Cells with a special focus on the current context, in domestic or international scene. The topics are likely to be of interest to all parties involved in the photovoltaic value chain: researchers, technologists, strategists and industrials in the energy field. This will be an area to share information on the present situation of the photovoltaic sector, the current issues and challenges in order to identify recommendations and action scenarios for better prospects and development of PV industry in Algeria for short and medium terms.
Objectives
The aim of WMCPV'20 is to:
- Foster the emergence of photovoltaic technologies in Algeria.
- Present the technological know-how of the CRTSE and other algerian actors in the realization of photovoltaic cells and panels.
- Provide by national and international experts, comprehensive insights into industrial experiences.
- Identify the complementarities likely to be exploited with a view of gradual integration in the photovoltaic whole process of manufacturing the PV panel in Algeria.
- Identify constraints and opportunities to promote photovoltaic technology in Algeria.
