I'd like to introduce you to some novels which are considerably worthy to be read by any one who
studies English ********

These novels were written more than a century ago and had been adopted for movies , cartoons ..etc


The first one is Black Beauty written by Anna Swell .

It narrates the story of a black colt


The young horse tells his story as a human being does

The second novel is " Little princess" written by :Frances Hodgson Burnett


It narrate the story of an orphan little English girl who came from India to study in London in a boarding school
because the climate in India is too hot and harsh for English children
There, it underwent a hard life especially after the death of her father
She spent her life working as a maid until she found her father's friend who adopted her

Daddy long legs

Jean Webster


It narrates the story of a young orphan young woman who got a scholarship from a rich man

While she studied in college to become a teacher, she wrote letters to him to tell him about her daily life
in th same time her guardian corrected her mistakes

and... a love story began at the end
