The longest study on happiness reveals its findings:

"Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. period"

lesson 1: social connections are really good for us and loneliness kills us.
People who are socially connected to family, friends and society lives happier, healthier
and longer life than people who are less connected.

lesson2: it's not the number of friends but the quality of relationships that matters.

lesson3: close attachments do not only protect our body but also our brain.

So replace your screen time with people time as much as you can.

Thanks for the post!

A few years ago, I would have said that this is debatable and not necessarily true for everyone. People are different, and there are many who prefer solitude over socializing. However, today, I do believe in the unshakable importance of human connection. Humans are social creators. The human bond is so necessary to our survival that no other alternative (like computer or TV screens) can replace it.

I could go on forever about this topic, but it's really late and I should go to bed :)

Thanks again for the good post, but, I don't know if it's just me, but the link doesn't work.

try the same link with "youtube.com" instead of "dztu.be"

Some people prefer solitude because relationships may bring problems and waste of time.
The question is should they stay alone all the time?
Do they end up being happy while lonely most of the time?
The study (75years long) says: No. As the speaker pointed out, relationships are often complex
still one should instead work on them and on relationships of quality, with family, wife, friends and
community.
