Iam confuser because I don 't know the rules of asking questinons about the underlined words the only thig i know is how to use Wh questions but with the invertion it's a catastrophe
any one can provide me with the rules in arabic

علي يكتب دروسه في المدرسة
Subject + verb + object+ adverbial or object of preposition.

S+ V+ O+ Ad/ PO.
الاسم + الفعل + المفعول به + ظرف المكان
Who writes the lesson?? asking about "persons"

من يكتب الدرس؟؟ السؤال حول الشخص
What does Ali do? asking about" the action"
ماذا يفعل علي ؟؟ السؤال عن الفعل

What does Ali write? asking about" the object"

ماذا يكتب علي ؟؟ السؤال عن المفعول به

Where does he write the lesson?? asking about" the place"

أين يكتب على دروسه ؟؟ السؤال حول المكان

but in the bac exam some times we use only wh questins without invertions
so we dont use did for past actions and do for present
that's where iam confused

Okay, If you mean a Direct question here you can find a simplified rules which I made.

If you mean Indirect questions then,
I would like to tell you that in English we have indirect questions like: could you tell me where the bank is? (polite question)

and if you mean questions in reported speech then it has its own rule and I think you're confused about how to report a question if yes then the rule is easy:
When we report a WH question we write :
Reporting verb + wh pronoun + subject + verb + … (.)
When we report a question we don’t need to use an auxilary verb because it’s considered a normal statement ; therefore, the structure is the same of the statement.
كما نعرف في الجملة الاستفهامية نستعمل الأفعال المساعدة و لها بناء خاص بها يعني ترتيب الكلمات
لكن عندما نعيد الجملة الاستفهامية عندما نعيد صياغتها في صيغة الكلام المنقول reported speech علينا تغيير ترتيب الكلمات و نستغني عن الافعال الاضافية لأن السؤال لم يصبح سؤال و انما أصبح جملة خبرية
فالقاعدة كما كتبتها من قبل مع أخذ تغيير زمن الفعل بالاعتبار على حسب reporting verb
