I have made up my mind to write a subject in which we mention all strange or unbelieveble facts about English la,nguage and English people either.


The example below can be the first astonishing fact about English itself !



Oxford is a famous English university in the town of Oxford. Oxford English is the purest English with the most prestigious pronunciation. Many people who live in Oxford do not speak it . Many educated people who do not live in Oxford or even in England, speak it !!






In England, when you talk to a judge in a court , you call him "my Lord " !!!!!

I personally didn't take the TOFel or IELTS tests .

I'll ask people who are concerned

FOr the TOFEL , you'll have to master voc/ gram/ pronc/ .....etc

Only in high courts and in UK that the judge is addressed "My Lord" and only if he is a male.
In the same situation, a female judge is addressed "My Lady" instead.

( It is not a big deal if u know that, but what is so is to question and check things up by yourself
and not just grab whatever you pass by.)
