Never be dependent .... you should have looked for the subject yourself ...students may not share you the same interests and capacities...

First you have to make up your mind whether your subject will revolve around literature or linguistics ....when reaching a given decision ...start looking for the theme itself ....go to the library and start reading ...the subject can be yours ...be innovative ...good luck
