أعتقد أنه سيحدث جدل كذلك بخصوص كلمة shortened التي تحتوي على two suffixes

en and ed و سيختلف المصححون بشأنها كثيرا فما رأيكم؟

وجدت صعوبة في هذه الكلمة اجابتي كانت كالتالي:

صراحةة يا أستاذ أنا وضعت ed هو suffixes واعتبرت root هي chorten وهذا يعني أنني مخطئة

لست بالضرورة مخطئة فذلك يتوقف على الرأي الأخير للجنة التصحيح

إن قمنا بتقطيع الكلمة فمن الواضح أن الكلمة الأصلية هي short التي هي adjective

أما en و ed فهما لاحقتان واضحتان و أكاد أجزم أن من وضع الموضوع

كان يقصد أن shorten هي الكلمة الأصلية و غاب عنه أن en هي suffix لنحصل على الفعل shorten

و متميز تعني أن له صبغة خاصة أليس كذلك؟

فيما يخص العنوان فالذي يقرأ الفقرة الأولى يعتقد أن العنوان الأول هو الصحيح أي The history of counterfeiting

لكن من يستمر في القراءة يدرك أن النص يركز على Counterfeiting Money و هو في رأيي العنوان الأصح
