هذا امتحان يحدد قدرات المترشح على إستعمال اللغة الإنجليزية و مدى خبرته في هاته اللغة أثناء التواصل مع الآخرين يعني مثلا إذا أراد شخص ما العمل في شركة أجنبية و تلك الشركة ستشغل عمال من مختلف أنحاء العالم فللغة الإنجليزية ستكون لغة التواصل قهذا هو المراد و الهدف من هذا الإمتحان
