Green revolution the best solution to arrest pollution
When the first astronauts traveled out into space they were struck by an amazing vision: planet Earth, sitting like a blue and green jewel in the blackness of space. An extraordinary place of life, and the only planet we know of that definitely has life, and in such abundance. .
And the more scientists learn about life on Earth, the more they realize that Earth is wrapped in a delicate web of environmental systems that connect, each to the other. Food webs, climate cycles, ocean currents, animal migrations, carbon/oxygen exchange and so on.
But Our planet is changing. We need to help it change for the better and we're asking for your help to do that! There are a lot of things that affect our planet in a bad way but the good news is that everyone can help to reduce them and do their bit for the environment.
What do you consider the most important thing we can all do to protect the environment?
In the face of reports about catastrophic oil spills and the rapid increase of global warming, concerns for the environment tend to overwhelm individuals and make them feel helpless in efforts to promote pro-planet action. But everyone can boost awareness about the environment by implementing some basic eco-friendly habits.
Make Simple Changes to Go Green
Pick Up Litter.
Reassess Recycling Rituals.
Plant a Tree.
Cut Down on Energy Use
Change the Bulbs.
Park the Car.
Turn Off Lights.
Small Lifestyle Changes Make a Big Difference
Give Up Meat.
Take Shorter Showers.
Choose Natural Cleaners.
Eco-friendly habits can be incorporated easily and inexpensively into anyone’s routine. As a bonus, planet care often lends to side benefits, such as saving money or getting healthier. Regardless of the time or energy expended, every little action acts as a vote toward protecting the environment.
"We must all see ourselves as a part of this Earth, not as an enemy from the outside who tries to impose his will on it.
...Being a living part of the Earth, we cannot harm any part of her without also harming ourselves."
