Hello everybody
Today, I want to share with you a new topic that deals with IDIOMS, we all know that idioms play an important part in learning English, because they are widely used by native English speakers
And I think that learning them would be a good step into MASTERING this international lan-guage
So, in order to make it easy on you as well as on me learning these idioms, eveytime, I'm gonna post a new one with its definition and an example of how to use it
Hope you would like the idea and remember your participations are welcome, I mean if anyone wants to share with us new idioms , he can feel free posting them here, so we can help each other

IDIOM: Ahead of someone's time
MEANING: To have an idea that is advanced beyond the time
EXAMPLE: John's new technology ideas are ahead of his time

Idiom:let the cat out of the bag
Meaning:to reveal a secret
example;we need to keep this quiet! if anyone lets the cat out of the bag there'll be trouble

Meaning: If a quality, ability, disease, etc. runs in the family, many members of the family have it
Example: We're all ambitious, it seems to run in the family
Idiom:live hand to mouth
Meaning:to have just enough money to live and nothing extra
Example:Jana lived from hand to mouth while studying for her masters

Idiom put your money when your mouth is
Meaning:to stop talking about something and to take action
Example:he always talks about how great the charity is I think he should put his money where his mouth is and donate some money

Meaning: it means that you want to finish whatever you're doing and usually go home
Example: I'm getting pickep up from work at five , so I think I'd better call it a day
