مشاهدة النسخة كاملة : those who know english..your responsibility
hi all and salamo 3alikom
Every day you meet different people with different way of thinking and different way of dressing, but there is no doubt that the recent generation is more extreme concerning the last point, they wear whatever especially with the foreign invasion to our national market, this trousers from turkey, that from china, this shirt from Italy and that from the USA, a parallel market that of the black market or those who sell their products on the streets with cheap prices and cheap products.
What took my attention is the writings on those products which for most of time are in English, and what took my attention more is those who wear everything even the words on their clothes are offensive, some writings mention some slang dirty words that we don’t usually hear in a polite speaking, or missionary expressions and still our friend putting them and no worries.
Well, some of them argue saying I don’t understand English and some saying “I don’t care”, when ignorance can be forgivable and persistence on the bad is a sin, I call those who understand English… it is your responsibility to sensibilize and spread awareness in the society, stop this man or that woman: “excuse me sir or madem, your dress has some offensive expressions”
I remember once when I entered to a coffee shop, I found an employee there wearing a shirt written on it : “all confess that Jesus is a lord… all shall bend to him” or something like that, so I translated to him the expression, his face turned to blue, but later he took it off.
So this action you do is one of prohibiting bad deeds and you get rewarded when doing it, and it focuses your role as an English speaker in the non English speaker society.

I'm extremely proud to know that there still some good people here just like you, who want the progress and development of our society according to our beloved religion.
it's a good message from you, I hope everyone would recieve it and take it seriously in order to improve his personality and not follow what western countries' teens are doing and wearing
thanks 4 sharing
NB, in english we say sesitize not sensibilize

hi amel, well lots of negative phenomena are out there in our society and every one should evaluate himself and check his behaviour and others' behaviour for our progress
thank you for reading
and the use of the word "sensibilize" is quite correct by the way, but it's just rare

Hello
Very interesting & important topic,I’m really thankful spy for posting it here
Yeah Brother this kind of phenomenon spreads only in underdeveloped countries and unfortunately it affected the youth most,I didn’t know why ppl wear sth that can’t even understand what has been written on.Well, a kind of imitation,I think it would be better to call it “Blind imitation”.it reflects just one thing “those kind of PPL are not cautious yet”,I watched a film of Mahatma Gandhi,Indian leader during the British colonization, and I ‘m really influenced by his sayings,he said to his people that inorder to get self rule we have to act as Indians ,he asked them to stop buying anything made with British machines or in British factories. He called for Swadeshi ,it’s you may say a kind of his philosophy which means” only Indian products to be bought and sold in India”.And ,infact, this philosophy helped Indians to get their independence throu being economically independent. Thus why I think it’s our responsibility to encourage ppl wear local clothes instead. while I was writing I asked myself “if is there any British or American wears a shirt written on just one Arabic word!!!!”,I’m sure non
Coz simply they believe that it’s not their culture
Thank you Spy for drawing our attention to this point
Congrats, may it be a step towards being “cultural” independent

yes you're right and our teens think it's kind of modern thinking and way of life when imitating those rappers and singers, but in fact they're getting lost and lost that way
mhatma ghandy is really a good example of high level of thinking, the economic policy he followed was effective and could bring freedom to his country
happy to ready such long comments hillin thank you
^^
and you
How do you think
i dont neglect personel freedom but im saying that everyone of us should pay attention to what he wears because that affects directlly the way people look at him in this world of appearances

hi princess, i wear fc barcelona jersey too but the cross is modified, i always intend to not buy the genuine because it has a full cross, anyway, one shouldnt neglect such matters which seem trivial but they're of a big importance if we really know, only if we are obliged..for example: a player in fc barcelona cant modify his jersey then i think it's ok since his faith is in his heart..while if we're not obliged we must react and do what we should do
it's a pleasure to read your comments princess as well as all my friends here, thank you
