my question is : how do you learn English, what are your methods ?
are you satisfied with your level ?

hello evryone ... i learnt my english from TV ... videos & cartoons .. & yes that's not enough ... basics learn only from books & teachers ... although i'm not satisfied at my level so i want to learn more & i take evry chance to get better ..

but I think it is also not enough to learn English from books and teachers
but what it is needed is the combination between reading books, learning from teachers, watching tv,
using the lang.uage everyday and more.....

we should always learn new things

to be good at ANY lang.uage you should learn two major things: Writing (meaning you should be able to write any kind of text in this lang.uage... thus you should have as much vocabulary as possible) and this skill is earned by READING (you should read everything, books, newspapers, magazines, diiffrent kind of threads

second skill is: Speaking the lang.uage (meaning you should learn how to pronouce the words and the letters... fluently speaking English is very easy I believe) and this one is earned by: LISTENING
listen to converstations,interveiws, TV news... (but please, NOT music) ok

believe me, this is exactly how you're gonna be absolutely perfect at English

about your second question: no matter what your level is, it's always not enough, so i'm definittely not satisfied

I've learned english by reading actually, I've spent three months of my summer reading and translating books until I was able to read the whole thing without translating it =p

Also music & TV were quiet helpful but, reading is what got me so far
^^

And yeah, I'm pretty satisfied with my level, but I think I could still do better =P

basically, I've learnt english by watching TV shows since I was a little girl, I was memorazing every word I heard


this way really works on me cuz honestly i hate reading books espicially if they are too long i feel kinda lazy ant not able to continue reading


I believe every one has its special way to learn depending on his/her ability and capacity

what do you mean, kiki ?

nothing bad, brother, I just ment that this big writor is totaly from a diffrent era, and you'll see that he uses quite hard vocabulary, you'll need a dictinary in every line

it's just an advice... i think starting with medium levels and getting good at 'em is better than going straight ahead to Shakespear, that'll be hard enough to get your will down

I learned English through TV watching a lot of movies not only for fun but for learning too and from music,about the level .... well I'm satisfied but ...... you can never convince your self that that's it ... it's enough .. you gotta aim for more to keep getting better and better
