This is an amazingly touching enjoyable and an agreable that I've translated by myself from an indian poem .entitled Self-Defense"Oh Allah, I don't pray that you don't give me hardships and challenges.
But please (oh merciful) make it sure (i pray)
That in hardships and in front of challenges
And In front of danger, I would have no fear.
Don't provide consolation to my sadness filled heart if you won't,
But please, oh Merciful, just make sure (i pray)
That i always triumph over the sadness.
If I have no one to help me,
Even then My Own strength won't give up.
If I take losses in this world, if benefit was a deception,
Even then I won't feel wasted in my heart.
That You defend me everyday Is not what i pray for.
Just make sure ,oh merciful, (i pray)
That I have the power to overcome evil.
Don't give me consolation by lessening my burden,
Just make it sure (i plead)
That I can carry it without fear.
Keeping my head down(bowing before you) in the days of happiness,
I can identify you in every second in every atom.
In sad-night when the whole earth cheats me,
That day just make sure
That I my faith in you doesn't falter.
