Midnight Madness




It’s almost midnight

And I’m still with my pillow in a great fight

Different thoughts and scenes I see so bright

Different stories, different ends, different people, different feelings

But ONE single bleeding heart

Always so lonely, so hurt

Sometimes I think I’ve had enough

And days turn to years, a feeling so tough

Sometimes I feel like a queen

When your memories make me happy like I’ve never been

And I look up to the sky

And feel so satisfied

And regret every tear and every “why”

Sometimes I see it so simple

And sometimes I can’t understand this tie

Sometimes I petty my heart feeling it trembles

But sometimes I enjoy the freezing muscle, so dead, so quite

And then I always wonder…

Could a dead frozen heart beat again?

And for a second, it seemed like it might!

that's pretty nice poem with expressive words and true meanings
well, i think we have so much in common, i mean that routine story when i hug my pelow all that nostalgie, all those memories, and those thoughts really push me to write and to get to understand some facts i have never thought about when my eyes were open
i think this poem expresses me as well, except the fact of the bleeding dead frozen heart lol
by the way the title is incredibly suitable
