maranich fahma unless winta ndakhlah afi la phrase hiya w i wich

Unless is the negative of if.I mean unless is if not
Look at these examples
If he doesn't work hard,he will not succeed
Since unless is if not,we are going to rewrite the above sentence as follows
Unless he works hard,he will not succeed
Note that the subordinate clause has become affirmative because the negation is in the word unless
It's exactly the same when you say : I never smoke
We put the verb in the affirmative form because the negation is in the word never
So, we don't say: I don't never smoke
another example
If she has time, she will visit her sister
Unless she has time, she won't visit her sister
wish
The lesson is about expressing regret in the present and in the past and future desire using the verb wish
To express present regret,we use the past simple after wish
example
Father,I wish you were here with me now
This is a son who is regretting that his father is not with him and he is either writing a letter
to him or calling him.Since it is regret in the present,we use the past simple after wish
To express regret in the past,we use the past perfect after wish
example
I wish I had got my BAC last year
Here,it's a student who is regretting not having his BAC last year.Since it is a past regret,we use the past perfect
To express future desire,we use could+verb ( stem ) with the pronouns I and we and would + verb ( stem ) with
the rest of subjects
examples
I wish I could opt for medicine when I succeed in the BAC exam
I wish he would understand me when I explain to him
